We've discussed a bit whether the FS700 would receive XAVC codecs and the consensus seems to be that it either won't happen or can't happen. What about SLOG3? Or do you think the FS700 is end of life for Sony so they don't hurt FS5/FS7 sales?

With Sony releasing firmware updates to three older cameras to allow for XAVCS codec, it would be amazing if we could get that on the FS700. It would be nice for gigs that don't require the O7Q+ setup but could benefit from a better codec than AVCHD. Think they'll do it, or would it compete too...
