well i tried cine4/PP off for fun. i also bought this camera for slog2. as a colorist i was dreaming of a bmcc when sony came along with it's FF,slow-mo, high iso and slog. imho slog pwns cine4. my graded slog footage looks mostly like this. i love my blacks and slog is all about highlights...

A7s is not a stills camera. I went out shooting today in FF silent shutter and cont. shooting. jpg. m42 lenses. Got raped by sony. I'll try to reproduce that with silent shutter OFF.

you're talking about ISO while i just got blown away by what i could recover from an overcast sky just by lovering the gamma :U
