    solar charging?

Anyone have any experience and recommendations with solar charging for DVX batteries? I'm going on two expeditions, one short one to the Olympic Peninsula and a longer trip to Ecuador, and want to make sure I have enough juice. It would also be great if I could charge my iPod, too. Hal

    good wireless lavaliere mike?

Does anyone have any recommendations or thoughts on a good wireless lavaliere mike for the DVX? I will be shooting an outdoor adventure type program and don't want to carry a mike around. Can I get anything decent for $500 or less? Thanks. Hal

WTB? HVX or DVX AND Macbook Pro?

My budget is around $6K. Since I'm just starting to film and edit, should I get the HVX now and wait to get the laptop or should I get the DVX and upgrade later when I know what I'm doing and maybe have the budget for it? Hal
