Here's a matte painting of a cloud city that started out in photoshop, then brought into after effects. Used 3ds Max for the ship to give it a bit more life. My original scene was without the ship, but after talking with people in the forums, I think a ship definitely helps the scene out...

Does anyone know, how to make after effects not use %100 of the cpu when it renders? Everytime i render a large movie, it takes my computer to the blue screen of death.
