I searched and couldn't find anything. I just got my copy today and it doesn't seem to be able to install unless you have Final Cut PRO. Or am I doing it all wrong?
I'm glad I get to start this topic. The movie was good and all, and I only had one problem with it, if you saw it, I'm sure you already know what it is.
The boom is in nearly EVERY shot! If you have no interest in seeing this movie, at LEAST go see it for a good laugh because it's really hard...
1. Will switching between the two cause problems? I have read that all Panasonics are dry.
2. What's the true difference between the two? Besides price.
I've researched I can't seem to find my answers without reviving dead topics.
i just got final cut express and i've got no clue where to begin. i'm basically a pro at imovie lol. but i need some help getting started with final cut. i have a dvx100b so i'll be shooting all 3 framerates.

I shot a short at school yesterday and used my school's Sennheizer mic. I plugged it into the XLR, wrapped the very long mic. cable around my shoulder (has nothing to do with it) but the microphone seemed to droop.
It seemed like a normal-length mic. to me. Then I noticed the rubber washers on...
Like I said, I have a few dvx-virgin questions for you all. It's probably in the manual and I'm probably overlooking it. Hopefully I'll get the DVX book soon and won't have to ask too many more questions. So..
How can I switch from 30p (standard recording format out of the box i'm guessing?) to...
The box says made in Japan. Are they all made there? Or is that a grey market box? (referring to the pics on newegg.com) I'm about to order from there so I just wanna make sure.
I talked to a man at Panasonic and he said the DVX100BPS is a legit model for anyone who was wondering. I know that...
i could either buy a brand new DVX100B for about 2700 including shipping and all or buy a used DVX100A for only 2000. It's only got 8 hours on it. I'm leaning towards the new one obviously, but is it not worth the extra 700? What are the major differences between the A and B?
I know I said I'd buy the DVX, but I just went on B&H and looked through their demo items (out of box for display) and they had a Sony A1U and FX7. I know both of these shoot HD and the A1U even does HD, 24p and I believe 30 and 60i. Anyone know anything about these cameras? Just curious.
I've done lots of research on many prosumer cameras. And obviously, the number one 3CCD camera of choice right now is the DVX100B.
I'm 18, I love movies, I've taken TV Production my past 2 years in high school and am continuing it now in college. My ultimate goal is to make movies. I've got...
