Hi, would like to know what are the minimum requirements for external hard drives to which I would be dumping DVCproHD footage from HPX170, to then edit in Mac+FCP. Recomendations about brands and models very welcome too. thanks.

Trying to monitor my HPX in best possible quality through a Panasonic projector PT-AE900U. The easiest is the component out since I've got the cable. But the projector has HDMI in, so I was wondering if there is any way of pulling HDMI out of the HPX. Thanks.
