I am in the middle of purchasing a dvx-100a, the Sanken cs-1 shotgun mic, and the K-tek k-ssm shockmount for on camera mounting of the cs-1 mic. I would like to mount the shockmount/mic in the mic mount area instead of having to take up the hotshoe-type mount on the top of the cam if possible...
