hi, shot some test footage of a guy doing urban-break dancing with my DVX in 24Pn 1/48 shutter speed with a 35mm adapter, brought it into FCP on a 29.97 timeline and noticed at 100% size there was a fair amount of interlacing happening, i don't remember this being the case on other 24Pn footage...

... great i saw the sticky thread talking about 24pA being captured/ingested with a 29.97 setup and pull-down removal. after that i assume one would create a new sequence at 23.98 and edit the newly ingested footage on that? what about 24p normal, i assume that gets captured with 29.97 as...

hi, i was wondering if it was possible to do an analog-2-digital conversion where the analog source is in a PAL format and the DVX is ntsc. so- PAL analog -> DVX100b ntsc -> Mac via firewire -> FCP... anyone ever try this? i couldn't find anything in the manual about pal/ntsc when doing an...
