What HD will suffice for 720p or 1080i editing off the HVX with FCP ? Please dont answer the Xraid drives from Apple, as there must be a cheaper solution than a raid rack that costs more than the camera. I already have a decklink HD card, and a Lacie firewire bigger disk.

Got to get this camera, anyone have any ideas who might offer a nice small business lease or loan for something along these lines?

Can I sell my DVX? Will the new HVX do 24p with Cinelook to miniDV, ala the DVX ? They play up the HD capabilities, but the other details get lost in the shuffle. If so, and I can replace my DVX, PLUS add the HD capabilities, I'll order (pre) one today.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but some of these threads are like 10 pages long. Anyway, does it record 24p to tape, ala the DVX-100a, so I could sell mine, and continue to shoot that way until I can sell my house to buy some p2 cards?
