I have a Shure FP24. It seems this is an earlier model without the Prosumer friendly tape-out. How do I get my el cheapo Microtrack to love it? Is there an off the shelf line level attenuator I can buy? Is that the right way to go?

Schoeps CMC5-U with MK4 cardioid capsule. A beautiful sounding microphone. Flat response, transparent, little in the way of self noise. Serial number: 15856. Without case. New, the capsule would be over £600 alone! Now only £450! Offers considered...
