I shot outside on a beach and ended up with grainy footage. I'd like to fix it in FCP but, before I do I was wondering if you all could tell right off what the culprit is? I have a DVX100b. It was a bright day. What function of the camera went wrong? I will take any advice on how to fix this...

I have to get a sunrise shot...which means I will be up the crack of dawn to get this. Any advice (while I am awake) on how to get this RIGHT the first time with my DVX100B??

Just picked up the manual for the 100B and can't figure out how to set the camera timecode to time of day. If anyone of you have this process burned into your brain, can you please tell me how to do it? Thanks!
