Hey everyone, it's my fault. I shouldn't have written such a plausible, realistic explanation. :grin:CineAlta said:Unfortunately, some shipments of DVX's were stored at the Panasonic Sierra Leone warehouse. Reportedly, a certain number of these units were modified by War Lords to smuggle conflict diamonds. The litmus test is, if you tilt your camera forwards and backwards, and you hear a clunk, you probably have one of the units with a smuggled diamond between the optical image stabilizer gyro and the imaging element. On a positive note, the camera may have paid for itself. There are only two authorized Panasonic service centers to recover the diamond and repair the camera (Brussels, Belgium and Johannesburg, South Africa).
Maybe we should have said enriched uranium rods? No battery needed, the camera powers itself:grin:SilverWolf said:instead of calling about a clunk issue they're calling about the "titanium rods"
