So if found this thread ... misfiled under zombie fest and for a relative noob
like me it was cool to see the old timers hashing out what might be back in
2003 ... especially know that most of it has come to pass...

Jarred Land was Zoomforce (i sense a hero fest parody in the making)
Hudson was still a chimney
Barry Green had not yet slew any wheel chair bound innocents
3 gigs of action a day seemed like a lot for the server
most expenses were out of pocket for the J man (few sponspors)
and ... just maybe oneday ... they'd put on a DVXuser film fest :)

poo poo, maybe there can be 3 or 4 a year? Make all of us get off our tails and make our own projects. There could be themes. And in paying you to host the work, we all have a venue in which to be showcased. Everybody wins. Except for the SONY and CANON crew!

I can remember when I joined, I could actually sit and read through ALL the new posts per day. Nothing doing now....just pick the areas you need the most. This place has gotten HUGE in the last few years! :thumbsup:
 
It almost sounded to me as if that was *before* John was a mod? Is this true? Was he once just a humble mortal user like the rest of us? Can this be?

I know it was only 3 years ago but man, after reading that I really feel like young Johnny Hudson really grew up in front of our eyes on the forum. For some reason I picture him in a muscle shirt but with a pacifier back then. All growed up now and oh so serious!:love4: oh and dreamy.
