Sound at full speed zooming

[mochouinard]

Is it supose to sound that noisie when zooming. You can hear the gearing that seem to force more than it should.

Also it normal that zooming at full speed is slow ?

I'll try to do some shoot of zooming in with the sound.

I've noticed the noise on my camera too.

It sounds the same as the DVX100 to me. Get yourself a good shotun and mount it high on the camera or totally off camera.
