I got my HD100 yesterday. The camera rocks!

Alexszo- I can empathise with you, my friend. It's horrible here in LA as well. 78 outside 82 inside. It's those darned winter clouds. They make for a chilly winter here in Southern Califonria but we try and make the best of it !!! ;-)

We have both Cameras, that's why!
Both? Well to 35mm film-out what's your bet? The most higher rez XL-H1 or the most film-like HD100 -- 921,600 pixels@CCD will it be enough comparing with the Canon?

If you're going film-out, the JVC should be the better choice. The Canon's 24f mode drops its measurable resolution to a level safely below that of the JVC cam. For filmout purposes, the JVC's only real competition comes from the Panasonic.
