To all those who have recently bought a DVX100b and where worried about
a loose "clunk" sound within the camcorder (like some component was loose inside when tilting the camera)...
I called the panasonic technical staff - thinking it was a defective refraction stabilizer rod...to be told by the technician that all I had to do to fix the sound was
TURN IT ON! Sure enough, the clunk went away when the camcorder was powered on.
He mentioned something about the focus lense or something to that effect sounding loose before powered up (which was standard in most dvx100bs).
So if you're worried about the "clunk" and - like me - didn't realize that it disappeared when powered up - walla!
If your camera still "clunks" after powering up - then the problem might not be as embarrassingly simple!
