Sending the Certificate for IDX today. I have one ??

Man, I don't know what to say. I sure wish you got a camera that did not have these issues.

As far as all the HD100's SSE will never be gone? Hmmm....
Man, I'm not sure how true that statement is.

I have yet to see any SSE and have used it in low light shooting
against a flat white wall with no problems. I guess I could crank the gain to +18, but I never use that much gain. The most I plan on ever using is +6.

Do you mind me asking how you knew? We just got our HD100 from BH about a week ago and it would be nice to know what to look for. Thanks!
 
as far as i know what you look for in the older models is the SSE issue. everything else is the same. its just the firmware thats different.
 
As far as the IDX promo, other than the one individual that received theirs, has anyone else got their package yet? I'm starting to think this is not going to be as fast as promised, since no one's jumping in saying they got theirs yet.

This Thursday will be week 2 for me. I purchased mine at B&H and sent their cert from a printed website link. All other info was original.

We shall see. It kinda sucks not having power. Glad I don't NEED it just yet. Just doing a bunch of testing to learn the camera, but it's getting really close.
 
Someone posted on dvinfo.net that it took two weeks to receive theirs, so there's hope. Tomorrow will be officially two weeks for me. I need to order more batteries for it, but I'm trying to hold off until I actually receive the IDX kit.
