Hey there,

New user here. I'm a first year film student. a buddy of mine referred me to this board. I'm looking for a video camera. he suggested a used dvx100. does anyone here have one to sell? what should i look for to make sure a used camera is in good condition? what can i expect to pay?

I'm interested to see what can be done with a dvx100. does anyone know of any examples of dvx100 projects that are exceptional?

Thanks

Thanks for the examples.

Any advice on how to acheive the image quality that the people at pinelake films are doing?

Pine Lake is just one dude with TONS of talent. It will take lot's of work and practice to get near that look.

welcome to the board! now you must say your vow of servitude to the oh great one! Steven Spielberg. Then you are truly welcome here :)

Great examples, with the exception of the second one. Those guys suck.
I don't know why I never visited your site before. It was fun and "zombies are scary".

Has there been any contest or awards given out to any dvx100 projects. i'd like to look as some more examples that i can aspire to.

Just chill. Hang out. You'll see and learn in time.

The DVX100 was the camera used on November which won Sundance Cinematography award.

Now be patient young Spielberg
