Sad day for me

MAN Coffee... glad you're ok! Sorry to hear about the 330 though. Were you able to salvage the rims? :)

I add my concern and thanksgiving to what others have posted, Coffee. We're glad you're still with us.

Add me to the list, too, coffee.

The fact that you literally walked away from that wreck says volumes about the Bimmer. Get another one. Maybe red this time.

Coffee - glad to hear that you got away with your life.
Hang in there, and get checked out.
Obviously it sucks losing the car,
but from the sounds of it it could have been much worse.

I'm glad you're alright.

Wow Coffee, you're getting a shout out for sure in my vid...

Did you take any pics of the wreck?

Classic response Monte

Damn I wish I were still in high school!
(i honestly don't mean that as an insult)

Last night's weather was terrible in the region dude. Hope you have a speedy recovery and post some pics when you get your next baby Beamer.

i'd call that a miracle dude!

i've never been in an accident *knocks on wood* so i can't relate, but good to hear that you're doin OK!

OK - so I've owned a blue BMW in my time and I've also been ejected from a minivan after being t-boned. And after the ejection and regained consciousness, I met the cutest little female firefighter you ever saw ...

But I digress.

Take your survival (and you DID survive!) as a sign that you MUST make your boxing/Gerry Cooney project a roaring success.

So shake it off, and get out there and do what you were left here to do.

And we're very pleased you're still here.

Press on.

Damn, coffee. I'm glad that you're okay. I wish you a speedy recovery and the best of luck with your boxing movie.

Yo Couzin! Glad to hear you made it out ok...guess you're pretty scrappy :)

Definitely God has a reason for keeping you around awhile longer, take advantage of that and leave a legacy!

Peace,
Larry (your not so bitter any more couzin!)

Glad you made it out,

now that you have borrowed time you can make more movies =)
Seriously...
just look what George Lucas did with his
"borrowed time" after the same thing happened
to him...

Yo Coffee, you are alive! Live long and prosper.

I know what you mean about having nine lives. I have done enough stupid things (that were fun) that I look back at and say WTF was I thinking!!!
and to also put others in harms way... and so a story starts.
My first car when I was 18 was a 71 Mustang Mach1 that I decked out and had to race every time someone pulled up next to me that wanted to. I was racing down 86th street in brooklyn one time and we hit 2 green lights so by the 3rd block we were up there in speed. The 3rd light changed and we were a little less than a half a block away and there was no way I could stop. I remember looking down at the speed gauge as we were hitting the intersection and it was just passing 90 and I was hoping nothing was coming. We made it through that light ok but the next intersection was the end of the road and I still couldnt stop. I turned right and the other car turned left and we both spun out into the grass missing everything thank god. When the car finally stopped me and my friend jumped out of the car and just layed on the ground shaking with tears in our eyes. When I finally got up and looked over the the other car the guy and his buddy were doing the same thing. If anything would have been going though that intersection as we were going through they would have turned to dust we were going so fast.
Of course though this wasnt the last time i raced and almost killed myself but its the most memerable because it was the first.

Another dumb time was doing wheelies with my uncles backhoe with me and my kids in the bucket raised up high. THAT WAS JUST PLAIN ASSSSS STUPID. We are all still here though and no i wasnt drunk.

Dude, make the time you have left the best time you can have because this is it. Hope you are ok and nothing creeps up later. Nothing like a few MRIs and stuff to make sure. Its funny how its so easy to lose control but we feel so in control when driving.

I wouldnt call it borrowed time unless you were dead and someone brought you back to life.

The one time I experienced bullet time was when I was driving a chase truck (tow truck that chases accidents...i have many stories doing that) I was going through an intersection and this big dump trailer ran the red light and all i saw was the grill to the truck at my passenger window. I hit the gas and all i remember hearing was the turbo spin up and then BAM! For that split moment everything was slow motion and then I blacked out. When I came too my truck had jumped the big concrete divider and spun around into on coming traffic but missed everyone. I wouldnt have believed it if i had not seen the skid marks showing the path i took. I came too pretty fast because the truck was still rolling and I put the emergency brake on and jumped out like nothing happend. I felt fine for the first few minutes as people ran up to me telling to lay down. The guy came running up the block and said his truck was too heavy from the load and he couldnt stop. He came off the highway that exits right at the light. its a dumb exit and there are alot of accidents there. Its over a hill so if you dont know it you come off too fast not knowing theres a light until you go over the hill.
Then it all hit me and everything started to hurt and by then the ambulance came and taped me to a board which a layed on for about 9 hours. The back of my head hurt like hell from laying there. I turned out to be ok except for the back muscles being all knotted up. I decided to leave that life and start anew from there which took me on my path to here. So i guess if it wasnt for that accident I would be doing something else i guess. You are already here and still here so you are ahead of the game. Hope to get to meet you soon before one of our 9 lives runs out.

Coffee,

I just heard. You are definitely blessed.

Anything I can do for you, just let me know.

I'll give you a call tomorrow,

Chris
