Out-of-the-box DVX footage

[farfromsubtle]

Here are some very quick shots I made with my DVX the day I got it.

I sort of fell into a theme with the file naming scheme...

[farfromsubtle]

By the way, it was shot on the DVX100a set on Scene File 6.

Putting that dvx to work on its first day!! Looks good !!! Looks like the squirrel lost his nuts!

ps: Do you mind if i use the subway shots?....Cuz us southern folk don't them subways.

[farfromsubtle]

Give 'er. So long as it isn't commercial, and "Far From Subtle Productions" is in the credits.

[Zac Henke]

I like those shots. A whole lot.

[farfromsubtle]

Thanks Not much to them though.

[reflex]

everything is named crazy
lol

[ICED OUT!]

stop zooming!

[redcap]

Its all crazy i tell you, CRAZY!

[farfromsubtle]

It all started with crazy zoom, but after that, everything just seemed more crazy than usual...

[twocik23]

No commerical use, just to play around with! thanks

[Slimothy]

Only watched the crazy squirrel, kinda jerky cam movements, and woulda flowed well w/ some tunes  Good job for your first.

[farfromsubtle]

lol, not really my first... just my first with the DVX. It would be embarrassing it these were shots I had put effort into.

[limehouse]

Are you in the UK? Just curious. The subway shot was excellent.

[KyleProhaska]

The compression seemed to make it hard to see the quality of the shots and the detail. Maybe it was just me but the compression was quite bad. Any chance of any higher quality files? The shots were nice though, not bad for some out of the box fooling around.

Indeed, the compression detracted fromt he true quality of the shots. I would put the raw files up, but to be honest, these shots aren't worth the effort. Ha.
I'll concentrate on uploading actual production shots in the near future.
