Hey everyone,
I'm working on a new reality TV Fashion/Model competion show. We just shot the intro for the show, and I've put together a rough cut. We had no budget for this intro and we shot it very simply in the location where the show will take place.
Here's the file. It's a 5mb Quicktime:

We shot on the DVX in 30p, 16:9 with the camera and tripod on a "shooter-scooter" dolly. Lighting was very simple, two backlights on either side of the Red iluminated background that was present in the location.
Please let me know your thoughts. I really wanted to have some strobe lights or something going to mimic "flash photography" on set, however we didn't have the time or the resources to get that set up. I've tried playing with the stobe filter in after effects, however the effect looks like crap. (I'm not experienced with after effects at all - I have been teaching myself little by little, ie. the titles are my best work to date hehe) - Is there a plug in or other method to make good looking or realistic flash bulb effects in after effects? - they need to appear to come from different sources in the room, ie, not the whole screen flashes white.
So yeah, what do you all think?
