HMC150 mixed with SD9 footie

Greetings,

Shot a short little piece with my kids who want to do an icarly inspired webshow. Light with a couple of soft lights.. and shot with the HMC and the cheapo SD9 cam. The SD9 holds up really pretty well if there's enough light.. there's some sharpness that's not there and it needs a bit of boost in the colors and to crush the blacks.. but for a B-cam it's not bad at all.. This is also supposed to be a bit rough. IT was conceived totally by my two kids.

no comments.. not even a.. it sucks? I know it's not like the other videos I've posted and for that I'm happy.


Either way.. the kids love looking at this and telling their friends.
 
That's awesome. I think it really goes to show how a good edit can work wonders. Your fast pace & laugh track kept it interesting and you sure captured some gems of a moment :). If I was 6 and that was me, I'd be exctatic about this - I'm glad you all are enjoying it!
 
Hey Justyn, I really enjoyed it. Great to see your kids having a blast. Cool that the SD9 integrates pretty well. Especially for that fast, fun kinda thing. Send it to Nickelodeon ... maybe Toby will get a show and you can retire!
 
Loved it! wasn't really watching for tech stuff after the first five seconds. Got to love kids having a good time...well done buddy! Good for the spirit!
 
Thanks for that all guys. The boys did really enjoy it and I bought a URL for the kids to put it on. Maybe I'll whore them out.. make them all freaky like the Disney channel kids end up.. pocket the cash and call it a day! lol


The SD9 does cut pretty well if there's enough light... This is also something I might be doing a few times with them over the next couple of months. They did all of the writing, if you call it that, improv'd it out and just had a good time. I think they've both seen it like 100 times and still laugh about it.


The way I see it.. I don't know crap about cars, not very handy with a hammer, but I can show them how to make goofy stupid videos and such. Pass on the family legacy of doing a "not so real" job. My son's just think I goof off, watch movies and make Crap.. acccording to the younger one.


Strobe.. That is a little creepy that we have the same stuff.. MMMM. You must be a shrewd shopper and be Scottish like me... Cheers brother and where are you in this fine country?



Cheers all and there might be another one coming up. They want to do movie review show and even a sketch on do girls have kookies. They youngest is set on the fact that they do.
 
Cheers on that. I've been hoping to hire a stalker.. feeling lonely without one. Harrisburg, is that near the Hershey Theme park place?
