What's up with that? If we don't nab one now we may have to wait 2 months?

That means Amazon sold out. It had only 4 in stock as of not too long ago..
 
Once again I just ordered one from VIDinc.com which is located in Houston TX and is an authorized dealer. They have cameras in stock for $3,145 with free shipping. And no I do not get a refund for bringing people to them and nor do I work for them. I am just trying to help some people out who want the cam now and save some money. :)
 
I finally received mine from B&H on Monday. I ordered it on the 24th of February and it got here on the 16th of March.

Because folks are having a hard time getting it, I'd like to see Panasonic extend the rebate offer that expires at the end of the month. Seems only fair.

As long as you order before the end of the month, you're still eligible. You need to submit the paperwork by April 15th I think (don't quote me on that), so they don't give much time to check for defects before chopping up your box and voiding your RMA chances.

Oh, well.

Just saw your post, Andrew. I just checked and currently you're at $85 more than B&H. The free coverlens is awesome, though.

I didn't get one. I think they'd only e-mail you if there was a problem with processing the rebate, like you forgot to send in the UPC or forgot to add a shipping address for the rebate. Otherwise it just shows up when it shows up, between the 4-6 weeks, if not earlier.

I ordered my HMC150 yesterday, March 24th from B&H.:)

I too ordered quickly to make sure I have a few days leeway before the April 15th Rebate submit deadline. I called B&H and they say the camera shipment comes in next week. If this is true it will be 7-9 days for them to ship with 2 UPS Air Shipping. I should have a week buffer.
