new user how do i do the WHITE BALANCE???

You should really understand not just how to white balance but why, and how color temperatures affect cinematography.
Follow DVXUser Ryan Patrick Ohara does a much better job explaining it then I could. Check out his blog for an exhaustive article on white balance and color temps.

The short answer to how to on the DVX is point the camera at a pure white source.
Zoom so it fills the frame.
Press the white balance button on the front of the camera on the left under the lens. Its a small push button.

Also there is a wealth of DVX information on this site. Search your questions first. Chances are they have been answered in previous threads.
