"The DARE" - a ZazaCast Film

As we come to the end of the first round of the fest.... I'd just like to thank everyone who took the time to view & comment on my film. It is most appreciated!

Cheers to all.

The levity is appreciated, especially among the doom and gloom that I have been watching for the last couple of days. Gracias.

Ha ha...loved the suspense...the sweat...the tension. It made me laugh....cry...and pissed off all at once. I now need psychotherapy.

Haha yeah this was a roller coaster of emotions to say the least. Good job keeping it light and simple. Fun stuff.

...as a side note, I originally cast DVXuser Tom Marshall as the lead..but due to scheduling conflicts and a nasty neck injury, he was unable to make the shoot.

And you know what? I think Tom could have put a really nice spin on it. We'll never know now I guess.

I should have mentioned before, when I first watched this in the beginning parts that I was creeped out by the head the way you shot it coupled with the horror music. And the moon/clouds looked great. Just wanted to mention how well the whole thing was put together which really made the ending payoff.

Hmmm, maybe get SNL to give you a spot on a show? Just a crazy thought.

Hey thanks Raptor...this mean a lot to me....I'm really glad you liked it. Just a fun idea for a quick film.

I want you to know your film is still giving me nightmares. You made me laugh that's all that matters.

I showed yours to my daughter, who just got her braces off...and doesn't want to wear her retainers...SHE had nightmares & now wears them without being asked!

THANK YOU!

...and hey, for your next film, could you do one about enjoying school & getting really good grades?

Are you telling me my film is a PSA? I'm glad I can help make a difference.

Joe, what a fun romp.

I seem to recall reading about how you were inspired and had hammered out 40+ pages!? Nice bluff. Remind me not to play cards with you!

What's amazing is how the use of a bobble-head drives home the fact that good editing can enhance an actor's performance. Nice job!

Great choice of music for this piece too. It's light hearted and fit perfectly.

Kudos.

Now, don't forget to complete Miss Laid!!

Thanks for watching & commenting! Don't you worry... production on "Miss Laid" will start-up again soon. I could never leave you guys hangin'!

.....and some of us know that MR. ZAZA is a former famous rock muscian too..... wink wink

I find it astounding the talent that participates on this forum...I have learned quite a bit about the craft!

Definitely you can count me in the fan club of this little 'diamant' :Drogar-Love(DBG):. This film matched 100% how is the best way to kidding the theme of the fest. Very entertaining.

At the moment we are involved in an other not DVXuserFest project. So we will have a look more ahead if there will be money (ohhhh santa economic-financial-crisis!) and time left for a film at QuestFest
