Great stuff! Looks terribly exciting.

Throw us some production audio monkey boy!!!

If you have any behind the scenes recordings, and for posterity's sake and your own health, you have &@^%'ing better, I'll host some mp3s for ye.

Epic! Can't wait to see the Low Men themselves.

The production quality on these grabs is through the roof. Everyone involved in this project should be proud.

The crew looks impressive: all these experienced people doing what we love most :-) It will be very interesting to see if Stephen King's name can propel this project into the big time like Tom Sizemore did for Corrado.

Really this is a great formula, the Blair Witch approach all over again. I haven't seen Blair Witch or El Mariachi, but I think El Mariachi was a whole other approach: 16mm, minimal crew, action. This "Stephen King" movie seems to be Red Camera, full crew, production value. And to be quite fair, Corrado was more mainstream B-Movie style: brilliant writer-director, clever producer (same guy), Godfather look.

Good luck and thanks for the inspiration....

we left the 18-50 for the dolly and the 135 for a select few shots. Since we are editing in 2k we can, if necessary, import a 4k file (to CS3 or shake etc.) and crop the appropriate 2k section and export out back to FCP and essentially get 100mm out of the 18-50. It would be like shooting 16mm 2k windowed with RED (you know).

As for stills ask and you shall receive. Give me a couple minutes to get a couple up. They are just going to be some random unfinished stills from some clips. Hopefully I can figure out how to post pics...

Indeed. Cropping out of the image will have that effect. Was it planned from the get-go to do this? It's not so bad as say doing that with 1080 HVX footge. I shudder at the thought.

Thanks for posting stills. These are the two that I find interesting.

Thanks for the positive comments guys! I'll be sure to pass them on to the cast and crew. Hopefully I will have a trailer soon.

We have completed the rough cut and are moving right along in the editing room. I will update later with some more screen grabs.

Until then. Long days and pleasant nights.

I was in nerd heaven with the "Low Men" car shots...

Just ask J.P. - ME: "Dude, we're shooting Low Men! (insert schoolboy giggle)"
