Movies You Would Rather Vomit On Than Watch Twice

But even Speed Racer is better than the Star Wars Prequels. The problems of Speed Racer have nothing to do with simple elements of craft like believable acting, or staging, or dialogue writing, which George Lucas wasn't capable of delivering competently through much of the prequels.

No argument there. Lucas should never have directed any of those movies. I seem to remember that Irvin Kirschner (director of Empire), after seeing what a train-wreck (comparatively) Jedi turned out to be after he passed on that film, offered to come back and direct the prequels.

Lucas said no, and The Empire Strikes Back is still a magnitude above the other five films from a directing standpoint because of it.

Ok Movies you would rather Lurch on than watch a second time, let's hear 'em.
I DON'T CARE HOW MANY YOU LIST TRY NOT TO BE SARCASTIC, SERIOUS ENTRIES ONLY.

1. THE WENDIGO
2. LES FILS DU VENT

the usual suspects
something about being inside a precint just puts me to sleep. i literally had to turn off the movie after 15 mins, my eyes were so heavy. i'd rather not watch again.

van wilder: rise of taj (sp?)
you can tell what the entire plot is within 20 minutes. bore.

superbad
a fat kid bitching about getting laid
a skinny kid who is completely monotone and just reads lines
a cop who plays the same role as he does in every other movie he's in
all for 2 hours
was this supposed to be funny

friday the 13th (2009)
go figure.

something just didn't settle w/ me here. saw it once, don't plan on ever seeing it again. i still don't understand how this won best original screenplay.

funny games (us version)
saw this the other day. i like tim roth and micheal pitt, but i didn't like this one. what really turned me off was the long drawn out uncut shots that would last 10-15 minutes without the camera moving at all. i found myself being amused by moths buzzing around my lamp and would forget i'm watching a movie. i also didn't like how what's her face's fate was never shown, although i'm guessing we're supposed to assume she's dead.

28 weeks later
i hate this one with a passion. this is the worst cinematography i've ever witness in my life. there are youtube videos that put less strain on my eyes. will never watch again.

all i can think of for now :(

"Your Friends and Neighbors."

Usually this kind of thing is up my alley, so expecting something edgy I thought I'd give Neil LaBute a try. Slow, talky, aimless bed-hopping, BORING. Is this like other LaBute films, or was utter banality his point ?

Babylon A.D.

It had so much potential, nice sets and cinematography, yet it was missing something. Its one of those films that is just... I don't know. It's just there. There it is something wrong but I can't readily put my finger on it. I guess it just felt empty.

Yes!

Babylon AD started off really well, then pitched violently and nosedived into the ground about 20 minutes in.

Terribly disappointing. The movie never lived up to the promise of that wonderful opening shot...

It started out in a Children of Men reminiscent dystopia, except with Vin Diesel instead of Clive Owen. Not a problem for me. I happen to like some of Diesels films and Children of Men is one of my favorites. Then it suddenly switches to a Blade Runner wannabe later in the film. Now, the weird thing is, this wasn't the problem. I could accept all that if the film had worked but something about it just doesn't. Arrrggghhh!!!!!!

Its too bad that he couldn't have done another Riddick film instead of this one.

Another one, Transporter 2. Sure the first one wasn't a masterpiece but it was a fun and solid action flick. I don't know what they were thinking with the second one though. Thankfully, the third one was pretty good.
