Dear all,

Just purchased the Lacie Blu-ray burner for Mac, and Toast 10 with the HD plugin. Did what I normally do to my client submissions dvd's- Just dumped my DVCPRO HD master file to toast, selected encoding to "best", and presto. a 53 minutes Blu-ray took 9 and a half GB. It was encoded in AVC with average bit rate of 20 something (with peaks of 30 somethings). Gorgeus looking video- very, very close to the source HVX material. Highly Recommended results!

(played it back on a Playstation 3 console- haven't tried it on a stand-alone bluray player.)

No problem. I'll try to see if there's any way to work on the menus. Picture quality is top notch.

Update: Supplied menus work flawlessly. Anyone knows if one can put a personal photo/snapshot to a Toast Menu?

what do you mean by your DVCPRO HD master file? You mean the build file created in DVDSP? or something like QT self contained file?

DVCPRO HD Quicktime mov. Exported under "Export/quicktime movie" in FCP, current settings. I do not know if I even had the "Self contained" box checked. I believe its not needed, but am not sure.
