That's quite few layers. Nothing else?

Yeah, that uses quite a few layers, probably with a few other motion key-frames (center/position) for the moves in and out of the split-frames. Probably done in either AE or Motion.

yeah looks like sometimes it's multiple takes sliced together and other times one take sliced and offset. this could all be done in fcp easily. just tedious.
