Uprezzed footage at the San Diego Zoo

The original footage was good, but the uprezzed was way better. No editing and no color correction. Just straight upload to Premier and I outputed it as a wmv 720p.

hey durk...the quality of footage is fine. Colours are also decent for no CC or anything.
But i got kinda suffered from motion sickness watching this :) I know its jus home video footage but even at these times...actuallyeven more so these times...u can pratice steady handheld and proper compositions. The continuous zooming also added to the motion sickness. You can zoom and keep the cam running to set up different shots, but in editing cut the zoom out. Eg. the shots of the flowers (pretty) would have been nice if u shot a wide..then zoomed for a clser shot. and just cut it out in the edit, so u have wide to medium shot or whatever.

But hey maybe i overthink...but its nice to practice even when doing idle stuff. It will help u get better when run and gunning on more pro things.

hmmm...try re-exporting it at 1280x720 but make it a mpeg4 file with a 5,000,000 bit rate. will look way better.
 
I will definitely be cutting the zoom out of an edited version. I was surprised how much better uprezzing looks especially offline on my HDTV. I will also take your advise blackdogs and see how reexporting it at 1280 X 720 with mpg4 turns out. 5 mill bit rate? Is that an over exaggeration or is it really possible? I'm new at this uprezzing thing, so I have no idea, but I'll give it a try.
