I found this paragraph in the official Apple FCP P2 workflow doument, and it seemed confusing to me:
"Clips captured with four channels of audio come in as mono or stereo tracks. The HVX200 records only four channels of audio. Since the Final Cut Pro DVCPRO HD Easy Setup records eight channels, you must manually deselect the unused tracks to save disk space."
I was assuming that each channel would import with its own track. Are they saying that each of the four channels comes in as a mono or stereo track, or that all four channels are collapsed into one mono or stereo track?
