Looking for camera to cut with HPX170

I am looking for some advice on a camera that will be suitable for mounting on a motorcycle but that might also cut well with the HPX170. I used to use a small 3 chip miniDV camera but I am wondering if there might be something HD out there to replace it with. Obviously I need something on the small side so as not to interfere with the riders movement on the bike. The main problem, as I see it, is mostly rolling shutter issues with cameras with CMOS due to vibration. Because of this I was thinking about the HS9 but I am not sure how well it will cut with an HPX170. Any ideas or suggestions?

Why not use the 170? For the price of the 2nd "iffy" camera you could buy a clear filter and any number of avail rigs. Then secure the 170 to the bike/ car and your good to go!

If you need a tiny camera, look at the older Panasonic HSC1U, it was a tiny camera with CCDs and it had the color and gamma adjusted so that it would match the colorimetry of the rest of the Panasonic Broadcast lineup.

The ultimate cam for cutting with the 170 would be an HMC150; it's basically the exact same size as the 170 though, but a couple thousand less expensive so if it falls off/etc it won't hurt as much as a 170 would.
