Sony CyberShot DSC-HX1 or D90

Just saw this review on engadget.com http://www.letsgodigital.org/en/21649/sony-cybershot-hx1/

and i saw the 1080p which is same as the cannon it has 1080p , but somewhere i read a thread that shooting with 1080p + 30p is not desired right now as the d90 has 720 24p right?

that sony has a tiny sensor and a fixed zoom, why not get a video camera instead? i have a canon hv20 and i love it. it's easier to use, better to hold, takes sharper pictures, and records for an hour at the time, beats the d90 in all areas "except" the glass and the sensor size. theonly reason to get a d90 is for those two reasons in my opinion.

matt's forgetting that you can also pretend to be a photographer and get models to remove their clothes for you.

yeah, that's probably also easier with a d90. i like to think that it's the great screenplay that made so many hot men and women get naked for me on my feature, but it may very well have been the camera...
