Is HPX footage uncompressed HD?

He was saying that if you ever need help with something about the camera that doesn't concern it being broken and needing to be repaired, there are lots of smart folks on here to help you out with any non-repair type issues, questions, etc, etc.

Wow this is so weird. I thought the 500 was approved as silver LONG ago... that must have been one of the higher end HPX's though I guess, right? It is definitely weird that there would be this period of time in which the EX1/3's are approved but not the HPX which is better in every way. Yes I know the resolution of the EX's is better, but Canon HV20's have higher resolutions than the XH-A1s and are clearly not as good of a camera.

Is it not strange for a customer (Discovery) to first look at the productionline and not at the product? IMO if the product is good and qualified for your use, who cares how it was produced. Do I see it wrong?
