I need inspiration.

I don't have a DOF adapter and i'm wishing i had one for my next project.

Can anyone point me in the direction of some great examples of footage/movies shot on the DVX100 without a DOF lens?

I'd love to see what some of you have done in post with the footage too, i'm sure it'll give me and others tons of inspiration. :)

to me shallow depth of field which is what your probably thinking of is not very inspiring its been done alot i say use what you have and don't try and make it look like something else use the limitations to your advantage

Thanks for the links guys, i'll check em out.

Saw Meth ages ago, that's a great example. :)

I second Meth.

The only time I use an adapter (anamorphic; 35mm) is when I want to go wide or super-wide. The key-- especially for digital filmmakers-- is lighting and shot composition.

you can also zoom in and keep the camcorder zoomed at a certain point to get good DOF

but like the previous comment says. it will be all in your lighing and composition but also in the colour scheme

Here is some footage from the following films that I have done in New Zealand (Dark Past, My Carol Anne, Tikanga Amerikan, Karl, Poker Game and I lve U).

I was filming on the runway at Auckland International Airport for the Air New Zealand Jet landing. The Gun flash and sound is a real gun flash and sound, not something that was added to the film clip.
