what programs do you use to edit your d90 footage?

Hi , i am having some truouble getting any program to edit my D90 footage.

i have just got vegas 9.0 platinum , have tryed it on my mates version or premiere.

and neither work , the audio track shows up but no video does.

yet with the vegas 8.0c free trail they open fine. but i have just got vegas 9 so dont want to have to change.

So...was wodnering what you lot use to edit your D90 footage and if you could let me know where to get it.

What version of Premiere did you try? It shows up with just about any codec in Premiere (CS3 for me), however works fantastically with the PicVideo codec.

Try downloading an mjpeg codec:

this is a pack. Install only the picvideo mjpeg codec, since installing all of them will make your computer very slow.

I use the Sequence editor in Blender 3d.

Doesn't have all the cool tools as others,but still a powerful program.
Imports D90 footage with no problems,and edits enough for me to get my work done.

Right i have got Sony vegas movie studio 9 platinum (b) and i still cant get it to load up the video.

i have the codecs installed as i can play the clips in 2 other programs but when i try and put them in vegas it just gives me the audio and no video , so what is going on ?

anyone know of any programs that deffo work with D90 footage on a pc running XP ?
