HMC 150 Battery Charger

I just purchased an HMC 150 with two additional VW-VBG6 batteries. I have the VW-AD20 charger which came with the HMC package. I'd like to charge both of my new batteries at the same time, and I have an additional charger from an older miniDV consumer Panasonic camera (Model Number: PV-DAC14D). The HMC fit in the charger perfectly: I'm pretty sure it's the same mount. However, the HMC charger has a 7.3v camera output and a 8.4v charge output, and the older charger has a 7.9v camera output and a 8.4v charge output. The two charge outputs from each charger are the same, and the mount is the same, so I think charging one my new batteries on the old charger would work. I don't know much about electricity, though, and I don't want to put one of my new $150 HMC batteries on it until I get a confirmation from someone more knowledgeable than I.

Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

I've been able to charge my 150 batteries with the charger that comes with the SD9 camera. Really cool and also.. the SD9 batteries... work on the 150... SO, this means if you are ever in a pinch, you can buy your batteries at best buy. They last about 40-50 minutes and since I have 4 of them.. it gives me about enough time to recharge another big battery.

Not sure about your stuff, but that did work. HOWEVER, my SD9 charger wouldn't power the 150 for more than a second and then I got an LCD message saying, this battery/charger does work with the 150...

I can charge my HMC batteries with my PV-GS300 charger. When I look up the HMC's charger in tech support, it shows the GS-300 as one that it charges as well.
