got it for a gig in the caribean that went pear shaped, it was never used, matthews just had it re-shipped to the states. my client has disappeared. I paid for the Dolly.

I don't have the space or the need for the dolly in New york city so I'm selling it. PM me or email me at GRAGADFILMS@gmail.com if interested... I may take as low as $2750 for it and the buy will have to pay matthews for the freight to his/her location.

Hate to be the beholder of bad news and no offense, but the mini bazooka can be purchased through B&H for $300 and the Red Dolly for $1950 full retail... You paid too much going through Matthews directly.

I am looking at the Red and Round D Round, haven't decided which yet... But you may be too heavily invested for me to make an offer. However, if you need to free up some cash and take a loss, I'm interested...

Did he respond to say it was the mini bazooka? His original post shows the adjustable bazooka, which is $1050 at b&h.

Just in the name of fairness, that would make his requested price $300 below b&h's total price.
 
Yes, he responded and said it was the Mini.

And it's not about being fair or unfair - I feel for the guy spending too much money as well. But if he's looking to get his money back, he needs to be aware of the truths just as much as a would be buyer should be... and the fact is, he's upside down on the Dolly if he in fact paid that much for the Red with a Mini Bazooka.

And everyone knows that Matthews makes great products. But they should also know, that if you want to purchase new Matthews gear, then you don't buy it new from Matthews, you buy it from a reseller and save some money - especially if your paying with cash.
