problem viewing sdhc card on macbook pro

Hi Everyone I have a problem viewing my transcend sdhd cards on my macbook pro. My SxS cards and PHU-60 hard drive both work fine, heres what I do; open xdcam transfer software put KxS with 16gb transcend card into laptop slot, click FCP raids- Untitled icon (normally SxS icon for sony cards) new folder- name project-click Untitled icon- drag and drop BPAV file onto new file and instead of copying it just goes Boing (the spring noise from laptop) nothing copys over. The card plays back fine in the EX3.

what am I doing wrong? Can you help?

it was a faulty card (the little switch on the side of it faulty from manufacture)
