- pentax smc limited fa 31mm f. 1.8.
- pentax smc limited fa 77mm f. 1.8.

Wish I could understand what they were saying.... :)

Looks good...very crisp and not much, if any noise in the dark areas.

Smettli, did you notice you have dust or something on the first couple of opening shots?

Mushy was good enough to lend me his beta unit, with which I shot this short scene using a great set of Nikons. Out of context, this footage may seem a bit kinky, but I assure you, it's really about good, clean, old-fashioned torture...

i'm jealous of your lenses.... :) i hate my nikons at the moment.
i was supposed to make one of these theatre trailers a few weeks ago but it never got properly organized by the people... thanks for your help a few months ago though!!

nice stuff, but is that vignette added in post or did you not zoom in enough? Seems very harsh.

Not sure about the Greenish tint to everything, might be the preset or the coloring. Nice stuff though!

Vignette was added in post. But i have a question for you Papa, how do you see on your A1 how far you zoom in? I hear people saying they only have to zoom in "72z" or something like that. Where do you see these numbers?

The green was the coloring, i was just trying out a look, i guess it didn't turn out as well as i thought..

Thanks man! BTW i love the stills from you indoor lighting, Beautiful!

Is that some Commedia dell'arte?

I was using an HPX170 and a RR1 screen, which apparently has the lesser light-loss. I was quite pleased with its performance sharpness and light-loss wise, as I was shooting everything at an f2.

What don't you like about your nikons? I really like the image I get from mine:

28mm f2.8
50mm f1.4
200mm f4

I'm trying to find a deal on an 85mm f1.8 or f2 at the moment to add to my set.

I wasn't asked, but thought I'd add info from my experience.

First, to get the best results, you need to fine tune the X/Y adjustment.

I use the flip module and I get full GG at z73. I can go all the way to z99 and still focus on the GG.

Ah, yes. It shows up when you actually move the zoom. There's a zoom bar near the top of the display and it displays the numbers just below it but the numbers only remain visible for a few seconds. There may be a way to keep the numbers visible in the custom menu, but I haven't tried it. If you can't see any of that, then you'll need to go through the manual and find how to set it up in the custom display section.

28 f2.8
35 f2.5
35 f1.4
50 f2
50 f1.8
50 f1.4
85 f2
135 f2.8
24-70 f2.8
35-105 f3.5

Primary key was a 250w chinaball, with a couple 420w peppers for edge. There was a softbox in the kitchen for another key near the dresser, and a Diva-light walked around for fill.

I sure did!
It appears that a bastard-particle has lured it's way onto the glass inside the sgblade which is right behind the GG, so I have to take the blade apart now to get it out, which is always scary :)
The reason you only see it in the first shots is because the iris on the xh-a1 was
more closed down on those.

And yes, even I have a hard time understanding what those danes are saying at times :)
