So, for my Film 240 class at Orange Coast College our first assignment is to shoot a music video on film. We were broken up into groups and given specific dates we can shoot and a date when we have to turn in the completed project. I was "lucky" enough to get randomly chosen to be in the first group. So I had basically three weeks to go though pre-pro, production, and post. With my due date being March 4th.

After altering my treatment a bit, okay maybe a lot. I came up with a concept that was very doable and to be shoot over three days. I did the first one yesterday (Feb 19th) and am also shooting today and tomorrow. I'm planning on getting it to Spectra Film and Video by Monday for process and telecine. Wish me luck!

My lovely talent, who is also my writer/director for our Lossfest entry "Developed".. Which we are also shooting on Super 8.

The following three shots are from three different areas of Newport Beach near Balboa Peninsula which will depict the girl arriving at the park near the ocean.

More to come, stay tuned!

Looking forward to this. I started out using super 8mm. Back when they still had sound on the film and you could get it developed at Phar-Mor for $5 a pop.

Can't wait to see some screenshots.
