Red Eye Lens Adapter

[ilooklikemark]

I'm selling a .7x, 82mm Red Eye adapter. I haven't used it many times, so it's in pretty good condition. I still have the original box and leather pouch for it as well.

It's a great wide-angle lens that fits well underneath the HVX lens hood (which I used it with.) It does cause some vignetting, which can be fixed by zooming in a little, or in post. It does zoom through some but not a lot.

You can read more about it at the Red Eye website.

Brand new, it's $500. I'm asking $250 plus shipping. I am willing to negotiate though. Thanks for looking!

Here are some photos:

Any footage from the lens you can post? Interested. Thanks!

I'm going to post some footage later this afternoon. It's processing on vimeo and might take some time.

After shooting with it, I was cleaning it when I did notice a small abrasion on the very edge of the lens right next to the red metal ring. While I don't think this is a big deal at all (I can't see it making problems on the video and it is very, very small) I just wanted to let people know.

If this is a problem to anyone and they are interested, I'm willing to go down a little on the price. Just let me know.

Thanks again.

Here is some quick footage I shot with the adapter.

As you can see in the zoomed in part, it blurs the edges a lot. But that's with it zoomed as far as it can go and still focus on something.

Bump.

Got the Red Eye, Mark. Good transaction and excellent packing. Thanks!
