Picture Perfect: a 1080p24 D90 - the noiseless, the stepless and the bandless

that's what i'm talking about. i don't know, but i understand what he means. it's simply harder to find a noise pattern in footage where it changes between frames. the easiest to find should by definition be the one that stays the same, right?

neat video can blur anything that it decides is noise. it's just a matter of how well it can differentiate between signal and noise.

that must be why i developed a plugin that takes about 5 seconds to download, 2 more to apply, and doesn't even have any setting. did i mention that i'm giving it away for free? did i also mention that i've posted around half the posts in the stairstepping thread. i'm one of the fcking founding father for crying out loud. without me you wouldn't even know what stairstepping was.

good bye.

Haha any chance for a real-time plugin for Premiere Pro CS3, rather than a displacement map filter for After Effects?

Yeah, you tell 'em, Matt! Nobody calls Mattias Sand a "mean bad man" and gets away with it!

Sounds like the OP was using something called sarcasm, but then again you know quite well what that is:

i believe it's called wit or sarcasm, it's supposed to piss people off and not necessarily make them laugh, but it's still humor. ;-)

duh, obviously he doesn't think i'm a "mean bad man", but if this is sarcasm i'm mickey mouse: "Let's hope some have a more positive attitude when it comes to helping people with less technical knowledge...after all that is the spirit a forum should have and the reason most of us are here".

Well, I bought it :D

That plug-in really is the savior of gained-up low-light footage. It's crazy what you can get away with.

So, back on topic:

What's the sum of the process? What's the easiest way to go about it? The 1080 footage looks really good, man. Impressive.
