WTT HVX200a for HPX170

Not too sure that there is anyone out there that would want to do this, but figured I would give it a shot.

I have a like new condition HVX200a (need to look at the hours), that I bought last June or so. As I have begun to use it, I have realized that I will never use the DV tape deck, so I am now searching for a HPX170.

If there is anyone here who bought an HPX170 and now realizes that the option of tape is something that they crave, this may be a perfect opportunity for both of us.

Feel free to PM me and we can talk it over and work out some of the details.

Alright, just checked and the HVX has 63 hours, all of them are P2 hours.

I would estimate that about 1/3 of those were used with the camera sitting next to my computer transferring footage (before I bought the Duel Adapter).

Thanks for the heads up. Just talked to him though and he said he was going to stick with the HPX.

Anyway, the offer is still on the table for anyone, feel free to drop me a line.

UPDATE: Willing to throw in some cash on the transaction.

I am considering simply selling the HVX because a few people have asked about it. Feel free to PM me if you are interested in buying.
 
Not to hijack this thread, but I too have an hvx200a that I would trade for an hpx. Mine is less than a year old, in pristine condition, and has 92 hours on it.

I find that I never use the DV deck and would prefer the smaller form factor. If anyone is interested who missed out on Ryan's offer, feel free to PM me or email me at caledor AT gmail.

heh, well hate to break it to you but it still counts as a hijack even if you say "don't mean to hijack your thread". You can feel free to make your own thread, but as of now I am still looking to trade my camera.
