heres a video I shot on the HVX with an M2 adapter.
its a little long but its go a nice little narrative so comes across a little like a short film. the first 5 seconds of the video are from the first video i shot for the artist and this is "part 2"

good stuff man...... i see you do alot of NY type of artists but you're located in Canada? Also, that Joell song is banging, how did u get that gig? He's one of my favorite artists.
 
You have rights to that Michael Buble song? That's awesome. Long video, but nicely filmed. Good job!
 
No we dont have rights to that actually. The artist wanted me to incorporate that into it for the "internet version" of the video. That's what you saw. The television cut is strictly the "swat sequence" with none of the intro. Glad you liked it.
 
I beleive your Back Focus was off on many shots and on others it was dead on... could be the look your were going for. The night shots in the car were sharp as hell and then everything went, well... Magic Bullet...
 
oh ok. Yeah you may be right. could be the back focus. what i hate is the fact that the HVX focus ring is so sensitive. the tiniest touch and you can throw your camera out of focus. focus to the groundglass on the m2 that is. i usuallly set the focus on the groundglass then use apeice of tape on the hvx focus ring but even then, the slightest touch and you're off. couple that with the crappy lcd and you can easily be shooting soft without realizing.
 
Mastermind, what kind of lenses do you use with your M2? I'm using Canon FDs and I can't get rid of the vignetting with my 28mm...
 
I have Nikons. A 24mm, 50 and a 70-150 zoom. Thats odd you can't get rid of the vignette. Are you zoomed in enough on your hvx?
