its not cut out for this setup. I think I am going with a miller ds20. and Juju- baby steps! + handheld scares me with the current screw mount.

Nice setup Tony! Exactly the same as ours except that you have the Letus rail system. Actually it looks like the Letus rails provide a better way to balance the rigs than the Zacuto rails. But Zacuto is supposedly coming up with a solution called the "balance cradle" some time soon that will solve it.

Thanks a bunch Mitch. The finsih on the zacuto stuff is certainly superior. My pricepoint had me go with the letus though.

Jolfer- It costs a lot. I dont want to think about it. hahha.

Zacuto: I'm going to wait on purchasing the Z-Balance until I decide if we're going to buy the Letus EX3 relay lens. Because the relay is so much shorter than the EX3 lens, it should dramically change the balance of our rig. So I'm going to wait. The Zacuto rig I've got now is perfect, except when I hang the big/heavy Red Rock Matte box on the front. So right now I'm not using it much and the rig is balanced just fine.

its pretty much what we're aiming for. we got the ex3 and the zacuto stuff and the matte box but we're still hoping to get are hands on a letus sometime asap.
