Compensation: $200 for the project. We assume 5-6 hours of total labor on your end.

$200. so that's what we do now. we use our "strong editing skills", our own cameras that must be up to snuff, yet vaguely outlined, and deliver in 4 days. so...we work for beer money.

i'm just gonna sell all my gear and join a band again.

And we assume lunacy on YOUR end. Hell, you couldn't LIGHT & FILM a 60 second promo in 5-6 hours much less cut, grade, and render it out.

$200 wouldn't cover the day rental on the lights.

You never know their expectations... but I guarantee that they'll get what they paid for... regardless of what they expect.

I've read a number of craigslist offering in the film/video category, and really wonder if there are any 'real' jobs...

I've only responded to a couple, and all have either 1) not responded at all... or 2) responded with 'we got someone'... and that's on postings for that day...

While looking for a camera/editor person for a 'reality' show may be just that... I often wonder if the call that reads like "couples wanted for reality tv pilot", is some sort of crypto call for porn talent...

Since they've never called for 'aging geriatics or fading hippies' wanted for 'reality tv', I've never responded...
