How can I check up on my mail-in offer?

I bought my DVX last December and sent the mail-in offer for Barry's Book about a month ago. I haven't heard or received anything about it yet. Is there a website where I can go to check up on the status of my order?

Also, can I trust this price for a Panasonic battery?

It's currently $73, the lowest I've seen it at. They ship from SkyBox-USA. They don't participate in the Store Ratings website I've seen around here, so I'm really skeptical. Is there an official store I can buy batteries from?
 
yes dvxuser provides batteries at the dvxuser shop http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/forumdisplay.php?f=73 most of the members have purchased from here and the dvxsuer battries are tried and tested. just read the threads. also its $79 so nutn much to shell out an extra 6 bucks for the real deal. I got a high capacity 6000mah battry from speccom cuz after many tried attempts to get some info about certain things regarding the battery and shipping blah blah...i didnt get a response. so i had to go elsewhere ie speccom as i was running out of time. It seems the lull is over based on the thread.

Also i 2 am waiting for my rebate stuff. U can PM Jan Crittenden, (Panasonic Broadcast & TV Systems Product Manager,) a member on the boards and she will help u out. I didnt get mine and i pm'd her and she checked on it for me...apprently they have no record of my stuff coming in, so she told me what to do.

You actually can call 866-339-4296. This is the rebate center. If you go to voice mail, speak slowly and leave your name, with spelling unless it is something like Smith, your serial number and the model number of your camera along with your inquiry and phone number. They will call you back.

It's been 13 days since they shipped it out and I still haven't received it. Is there any chance that it's lost? Does it come with a tracking code?
 
I sent out for my refund/book back in June '08. The refund check showed up in November but the DVX book and software didn't arrive until TWO WEEKS ago! Yes, that's 7 months.

Jan helped with checking on mine, but it still took surprisingly long for everything to arrive.

They corrected a mistake - it was scheduled to ship out last Friday and they said it should be arriving sometime this week. That'd be a little more than a month since I mailed in the offer.

Maybe since I was one of the last ones?
