I can't seem to focus

This is embarrassing as much as it is funny.

So I got the call from my video tech guy who said there was nothing wrong with my camera at all. Much to my surprise the guy I bought it from forgot to remove a macro lens attached to the unit. I had no idea this was there obviously and don't you know that after days of corresponding with the e-bay member who sold me the unit suddenly disappeared after I told him the camera would not focus.

So when I got my DVX back from my tech guy along with the nice Macro lens, I took a crisp picture of it and e-mailed my e-bay friend and asked if he had been looking for something..............LMAO......don't you know he suddenly reappeared asking if I would mail him the lens that was creating all the confusion.

I bet you can guess what my answer was:laugh:

I really do appreciate everyone who responded to this thread and offered some insight As I sad this was embarrassing, but a relief knowing my ebay bought camera is good to go now!
 
LOL! That's crazy! Embrassing, eh we all make mistakes and its not like you put it there. Glad it all worked out and hope you didnt spend too much shipping it around :) Congrats on your new macro lens too!
 
Thanks Jeff, I spent 125.00 having him clean the heads up and he also realigned the lens while he had it broken down. I figured what the hey. At least now I know what I got!
 
Heck at least now your heads are clean and your lens is aligned, thats not a bad deal. Seems like a good price on that too.
