Nothing personal Sean, but it looks little outdated to me. Idea is okay but execution is not very professional looking.

Design is something that changes almost every ten minutes and doing it yourself is not always the best way. Do you have any friends who are designers? Perhaps you can trade some favors?

Good luck,

Dan

People are kind-of slow in the world. The cut-out of the camera might have people saying "what the heck is that"

im not blind I see what you guys see. I think what makes it not look so slick is the camera outline, I need to go back to the drawing boards.

Isolate a vector graphic of the camera from a manual... they typically have good vectors. Simplify it down or colorize that.

If you really want to be creative... get a diecut made in the shape of the camera!

Looks like a state I don't recognize and using the building as imagery will only limit you as my first thought was you work in the capital.
A bad business card does the exact opposite of it's intended function.
The cleaner the better on the card. You can add more creativity to your web site.

Clean up the background image. Crush the blacks - up the chroma. Or go the other way and bleach it with grain. Either way, right now the image says that you shoot mediocre footage (at night).

Hire a graphic designer? I tried several times to design my own business card, but finally gave up after admitting my graphic design skills are lacking and hired a professional. It cost a pretty penny, but I now have the best looking card at every business event I go to.

Don't think of it as an expense, think of it as an investment.

That's what my ex-wife said of our divorce.

Haha, just kidding, thankfully I'm 26 and would never consider getting married ;)

Yeah I hire professionals especially when it comes to marketing issues because the way I present the company is so essential to my success.
